Porcelain Veneers

Our porcelain veneers are made from a high-quality medical grade ceramic material that are bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth to camouflage a range of dental flaws like chips, cracks or stained teeth. Veneers are the most common type of cosmetic dentistry treatment, as they offer several benefits such as creating a brighter, more uniform looking smile, require minimal maintenance and resist staining better than natural teeth. Completed in just two visits, our team makes the process of receiving porcelain veneers a breeze!

The first appointment helps us prepare your teeth for your veneers by removing some of the natural enamel. During your second appointment, we will place the veneers on your teeth using a strong dental cement. After that, porcelain veneers can last 10-20 years if you take excellent care of them!

Porcelain Crowns

We may recommend a porcelain crown to help restore damaged or decayed teeth. It is a tooth-shaped cap that fits over the entire tooth to help repair its health and function. To make sure it fits precisely, one of our dentists will first reshape the tooth by removing some of the enamel to make room for the crown. The goal is to establish a strong foundation for your new restoration. Then, we will take digital impressions of your teeth in order to create your custom crown.

We will place a temporary crown on your tooth until the permanent one arrives. After it arrives at our office from the lab, we will remove the temporary crown, check the fit and shape of the permanent one and bond it to your tooth, where it should last between five and 15 years with well maintained care.

Icon for onlays

Onlays

A dental onlay is considered in between a filling and a crown. The difference is how much of the tooth it covers. For example, dental onlays cover the cusp of the tooth while a crown blankets the entire tooth. Our team here at Marc A. Minch, DMD may recommend an onlay if a cavity is too large and a filling would not support it. Onlays are used to help restore the tooth to its original health and function. They are an efficient and effective repair treatment for tooth decay or significant damage.

There are many advantages to onlays, including the fact that they are made from durable materials and tend to last longer than crowns. They also reduce the possibility of future decay, and because they are custom-made, the fit is comfortable and secure. As an added bonus, they look completely natural, blending in with the rest of your teeth. Find out if onlays are a good choice for you!

Laser Rejuvenation

Our goal at Marc A. Minch, DMD is to make each and every one of your visits with us convenient and comfortable in an environment that is friendly and welcoming. We proudly offer laser rejuvenation to treat a wide variety of dental conditions. Laser rejuvenation allows our team to use light beam energy to perform certain procedures with ease instead of using traditional drills or other dental instruments that some may find intimidating.

This helps calm anxiety, as lasers lack the noisy vibrations associated with some dental tools. We also offer several cosmetic enhancements with laser rejuvenation including SmoothLase, LipLase, Laser Skin Resurfacing and TouchWhite. From improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to plumping your lips and achieving fresher, more youthful looking skin, we are here to help you reach your dental and cosmetic goals.
