Digital X-Rays

When you visit us at Marc A. Minch, DMD, we may need to take digital X-rays of your teeth. The purpose of this is to check for any cavities, gum (or periodontal) disease, tooth decay, areas of infection, impacted teeth or cysts. We may also take X-rays to determine if you are a good candidate for dental implants or dentures. Additionally, these high-tech images help Dr. Minch and Dr. Newton determine if your teeth, gums and jaw are healing properly if you’ve had a recent procedure.

Cone Beam CT Scans

Minch, DMD is proud to offer Cone Beam CT scans, which are considered the gold standard in the dental industry because the device provides greater detailed images of a patient’s face, mouth, teeth and gums compared to traditional X-rays. Furthermore, it helps us diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions, like wisdom teeth or root canals, that other devices may not be able to read as clearly.
